A nice morning in Foxford, strange to see it dry. The river is dropping nicely now, 1.1m at Ballylahan bridge. The water in Foxford is dark and peaty. There is still a big volume of water coming from the Loughs but it is suitable for worm and spin. Further upstream East Mayo Anglers will soon be in order for fly fishing. Hopefully we do not get any more significant rain before the weekend.
