Still a few showers hanging around but not a bad morning in Foxford. The river rose a lot yesterday and is at 1.68m at Ballylahan bridge and coloured. Fishing will be difficult today and the best chance of a fish will be well downstream towards Ballina. Realistically it will be tomorrow evening or Saturday before it comes back into order. I will update this tonight

21.15  Reports of a few salmon from downstream today but overall it was quiet. The river is dropping well and is now at 1.25m at Ballylahan bridge. We did not have much rain today so it should be in reasonable order by morning
