A slightly brighter morning in Foxford with rain forecast from this evening and into tomorrow. The river droped to 0.88m last night but has crept up again to 0.99m at Ballylahan bridge (rain in the hills). It is still in good condition and is falling again. The rain in the next 24 hours will have an effect on levels and may make the weekend difficult. It depends on how much rain we actually get, we will up date when we know. Overall fishing is very good and most anglers are reporting seeing good numbers of fish and there have been some good catches. Spin and worm are the best methods and all fisheries are producing fish.
