Sunday 28/07/2024

A little bit of hazy sunshine in Foxford this morning, for anyone who was out fishing early, it wouldn’t have been an easy morning. The river came up slightly yesterday evening and is now at 0.4m at Ballylahan bridge. This was not a big rise but it will have coloured the water a little. It looks like today will be a day for deeper water and worm fishing, Guirys bar and the all Ireland final is another alternative. There are plenty of fish around and the late evening will be the best period (Not if you done the Guirys bit). The shop is open today from 8am to Noon and will reopen at 8am on Tuesday morning.
