A nice morning in Foxford, the river is now at 1.04m at Ballylahan bridge. Upstream of the joinings it is suitable for all methods, still a bit of sand coming from the Loughs. Some sad news yesterday, Micksie Clarke who will have been well known to many of you has passed away following a short illness. Micksie was a very keen angler and will be missed on the banks of East Mayo anglers waters, RIP.

Micksie Clarke RIP, with one of the many early season salmon he caught
