Its what could be best described as a difficult morning in Mayo. I’m no expert on Gaelic Football but the plan went wrong somewhere and judging from what I witnessed in Foxford last night there’s going to be a lot of sore heads today. Congratulations to Tyrone and yes you are all still welcome to Mayo to fish. The river is looking good, 0.76m at Ballylahan bridge it is suitable for all methods and should produce a few fish today. For anyone heading out, the fisheries down stream of Foxford will be well worth trying with a spinner while further upstream on East Mayo Anglers the fly will be worth a try. We will be closing the shop at noon today and tomorrow Monday, going fishing not playing football…
