An overcast grey morning in Foxford, its due to brighten up later. Yesterday was quiet on the river. i spoke to a few anglers who fished Rinnanney, they saw very little and caught nothing. I don’t believe all the fish have disappeared , just keeping the heads down for some reason. There was a few reports of fish from just upstream of Ballina and some of them were fresh fish taken on spinners. I would say that if the water levels downstream of the Loughs got a chance to fall fishing will improve. There’s a big flow through Foxford at the moment and its not helping. 0.8m at Ballylahan bridge this morning so the upper parts of the river will fish and spinning will be the best method.

Note: We will be closing the shop at 2pm today
