Sunday 05/07/2020

A very windy morning with heavy showers in Foxford. The river is likely to creep up a little throughout the day. It is now at 0.94m at Ballylahan bridge and suitable for spin and worm. Mixed reports from yesterday, some anglers not having any success others very happy with their day but all reporting seeing good numbers of fish moving. At this stage there are fish throughout the entire system. Its not going to be the most pleasant day on the river bank.

Update 21.00 : We have had a reasonable amount of rain throughout the day, mostly heavy showers. I would expect the river to be rising by morning. It may not be a big rise but could have an effect on angling.
