A beautiful morning in Foxford. Following yesterdays rise in water levels the river is now falling and is at 0.76m at Ballylahan bridge. It is suitable for all methods. Its looking good for today and the remainder of the weekend. The rise in temperatures should also help the Lough angling and we will see some good hatches of fly. I was speaking with sea trout skipper Judd Ruane yesterday and he tells me there are mackerel in Killala bay now and he expects the sea trout angling to be good in the coming weeks. We are open until 6pm today and will be here from 8am tomorrow (Sunday) until Noon.
