Good morning from a dry and slightly cloudy Foxford. It looks like it will be an OK fishing day weather wise at least. The river is at 0.3m at Ballylahan bridge and suitable for all methods. Bubble and fly has been the best method in the past few days and that will be no different today and tomorrow. Some very good reports over the past few days but as always not everyone has caught fish while some have caught quite a few. Theres a good number of Grilse arriving now and hopefully we will get some rain in the next 48 hours which will really liven things up. Small shrimp flies are working well. For anyone not into bubble and fly I would suggest trying some small flying Cs or a traditional copper and silver spoon, Tobys can work well in the current water conditions. The shop is open all day today and from 8am to Noon tomorrow Sunday and Monday.
