A bright cool morning in Foxford. Temperatures are forecast to rise a little in the coming days which at the moment is not a bad thing for angling. The river is falling slowly and is now at 0.93m at Ballylahan bridge. It is suitable for spin or worm and is borderline for fly angling. The upper reaches of East Mayo anglers would be worth a try if you want to try the fly today, tomorrow will be a better bet. Pontoon bridge has been producing a few fish and is worth a look with a prawn or spinner. The shop is open all day today, half day tomorrow Sunday and we are closed on Monday
