Its been a few tough weeks on the fishing front. The weather took a dramatic change from what was a very mild winter to wind and gales with a bit of hail, snow and thunder thrown in.. Certainly not what we wanted. Anyway, the sun is shining in Foxford this morning and the river is coming close to a fishable level again. If it continues like this i would expect to hear of a fish taken on Cloongee or East mayo this week.
