The river was rising all day yesterday and peaked at 1.95m at Ballylahan bridge. It is now falling and is at 1.55m at ballylahan bridge. The water is coloured and best suited to worm fishing.

The river is at 0.75m at Ballylahan bridge but will most likely rise during the day. We have very heavy rain and strong wind here this morning. unfortunately at this stage conditions are not looking great for the weekend.

The River rose a little yesterday which did not help. it is falling again this morning and is at 0.83m at Ballylahan bridge. It is in very nice condition for spinning.

Its a breezy fresh morning, the river is still falling and is at 0.75m at Ballylahan bridge. Clarity is good and it is suitable for all methods. Reports of a few salmon taken down stream of Foxford yesterday on Spinners. Nice morning to try the bubble and fly.

The River is now at 0.83m at Ballylahan bridge, the water is clear and it looks good for all methods. This should hopefully see fishing improving considerably for the last two weeks of the season.

The river has dropped back to 1m and is in good order for most methods, there has been some good reports of fish over the past few day and most of these were caught using spinners / spoons.

The Rain we have had for the past few days seems to be clearing with a forecast for better weather over the weekend. The River is now at 1.25 m at Ballylahan bridge and falling. Once it reaches the 1m mark fishing should improve greatly.

The River is rising again this morning, it is at 1.45m at Ballylahan but will come close to 2m before evening. The water is not very coloured and spinning and worm fishing will still work.

The River is at 1.56m at Ballylahan bridge and is suitable for spinning and worm fishing. there are reports of a few fish starting to be taken on spinners so hopefully as the water levels fall fishing will improve.
