A wet morning in Foxford, it seems to be easing a bit now. Upstream of Foxford, Cloongee and East Mayo the river is in nice condition, now at 0.83m at Ballylahan bridge. From the Loughs downstream and through Foxford there is a lot of silt in the water and its coloured. This is a result of the strong winds we had recently. There was another salmon taken from  the East Mayo waters yesterday morning. Still very few anglers on the river and I imagine that as numbers of anglers increase so will catch reports.
