Monday 9th May

The river has fallen back from the rise in levels yesterday and has become clear enough for all methods, the fishing was quiet yesterday with 2 or 3 fish of each of the Fisheries upstream of Foxford. The most productive area yesterday was around the Railway bridge where regular visitor Thierry Libs landed a Salmon of approx 7lbs and a big Brownie of 4lbs+. The River should be in good order for the next few days. Above Mick Kane with his 19lb+ Salmon from the River nesd Foxford
