A showery morning in Foxford. We had some heavy showers in the early part of yesterday which are now having an effect on the river. It is rising but nothing major. Now at 0.65m at Ballylahan bridge it will continue to creep for another few hours at least. Best methods today will be spin and worm. Fishing has been tough over the past while, not just on the Moy. Ive spoken to angler who fish other rivers and Loughs and the story is the same all over. Everyone has their own theories but its most likely to do with weather and water temperatures. This fresh water might kick the Moy into action for the last few days. We will be closing the shop at Noon today. Thanks to everyone that contacted us to let us know the Moy webcam is not working. Slight technical issues that should be resolved soon.
