A bright cool morning in Foxford. The forecast is for some rain from tomorrow, difficult to say how much we will get but we don’t actually need it. Water levels are high enough and from a fishing point of view it would be better if the river dropped at a nice steady pace for a while instead of rising and dropping every second day. Fishing over the weekend was pretty good. As always some anglers caught fish and some did not and that’s the nature of Salmon fishing. The feed back from those who had success was that the fish have their heads down and although they did not see the fish showing they caught them. Spinning was the best method and heavy spinners fished deep worked best. As water levels fall bubble and fly and prawn will also start to work again.
