A little bit of mist still lingering around Foxford this morning. Yesterdays rain was not very heavy and by midnight we had approx 5mm. The river will rise again today but i’m not expecting that we will get washed away. It is now at 0.6m at Ballylahan bridge and creeping up. Its not ideal for anyone wishing to fish the fly as there will be colour in the water later this morning. For anyone spinning or worm fishing I do not see it causing major issues. In the long term t.his is good for fly anglers as it will bring fish into the upper parts of the river and by  Wednesday East MAyo Anglers should be well worth a try (Subject to further rainfall). We are opening toady from 8am to 10am and will reopen at 8am on tomorrow morning for the remainder of the week.
