Good morning from blue sky Foxford, i had forgot what a cloudless sky looks like. I don’t think it will stay this way all day, there’s a few showers promised which should bring some cloud cover. It has been a tough weekend on the Moy. Lots of fish but they were hard to tempt. A few anglers had success but others tried very hard and caught nothing. I would say that everyone went away happy knowing that there’s plenty of fish in the river. The river is now at 0.48m at Ballylahan bridge and is in good condition for all methods. Still a big flow of water through Foxford and on downstream, this is coming out of the Loughs. The best chance today will be during cloudy periods or late this evening.
