A dark and cloudy morning in Foxford, looks like rain. Not sure how much we will get so don’t get to excited just yet. Every little helps though and there’s a noticeable drop in temperatures which will cool the water down as well. Over the past few days there has been a few more anglers venturing out and reports are reasonable. Bubble and fly and spinning have been the most productive methods. The river is now at 0.37m at Ballylahan bridge, lets see what today’s rain does.

  1. Hi there, my friend and I are for loigh conn tomorrow daytime but were looking to fish a few hours in the evening in a river for some brownies.
We are staying in foxford and just wondering if its possible to get a pass to do so?
    Thanks, Marty

    1. Hi Marty, if you drop into the shop we will do our best to help. River trout angling is difficult in this area. If you are having success on Conn i would recommend you don’t leave it.
