Yesterdays rain although pretty heavy for a while was very localised. The river has risen by a few centimeters at ballylahan bridge,it is now at 0.25m. It may rise by another little bit today but i’m not expecting much. At least the ground got some water and it will all count over the next while.

Good morning from a very mild but dull Foxford. The winter is slowly creeping in and there is a very noticeable change in the light.
