A dry breezy morning in Foxford. It looks like we will have some rain later this morning. The river is now at 0.28m at Ballylahan bridge, it came up about 20cm after the rain on Wednesday night. That’s not a big rise in levels but its amazing how a hint of fresh water can switch the fish on. For today, all methods should work and prawn will be the best method downstream of Foxford. If we get any significant rainfall I will update this tonight.

Update at 17.50  We did not have any rain in the early part of the day, it has just started. If we get whats promised (see picture) there will be water by Sunday morning, fingers crossed.
