Friday 10/05/2019

A bright morning with some fog, this will burn of quickly. Showers promised later this morning with a light Northerly breeze. Heard of a couple of double figure fish yesterday so still a chance of a “big one” . The river is at 0.38m at Ballylahan bridge. Fly, bubble and fly will be the best methods upstream while Spin and prawn will work further down. For anyone interested in Lough fishing, there’s May fly on Cullin and fishing is quite lively when conditions are right.
