A nice morning with high cloud and a light breeze in Foxford, the forecast gives some sunny spells later in the day. Overall from an angling point of view the weather is ok. The river is now at 0.58m at Ballylahan bridge and is suitable for all methods. Throughout the day yesterday there was a good run of fish through Foxford and anglers reported seeing some larger Grilse which is good news. Up to now a lot of the Grilse this season have been pretty small ( 2.5to 3.5lbs). For the weekend ahead its looking promising .
