A dry morning so far in Foxford, there is a bit of cloud building to the west which might bring some rain later in the day. The river is at 0.23m at Ballylahan bridge which is low for that area. Through Foxford and further downstream water conditions are still good and if fish want to move there is plenty of water. We are seeing fresh batches of Grilse daily and there is a good build up of fish in the lower parts of the river. The bulk of these fish will not run until we get a flood. For anyone with fishing booked on the lower beats, Ridge and Cathedral beats this is all good news. For today, Prawn, Bubble and Fly and small Flying Cs are the way to go.
