A bit of blue and a glimpse of sun over Foxford this morning. I don’t think it will stay this way for long. Yesterday evening we had a bit of thunder and some heavy showers but unfortunately the heaviest fell in the wrong place. The river will creep up but only by centimeters and at best it will freshen the water. Sometimes that little bit of fresh is enough to stir fish and a few of those who are lying in pools may become more active. Its looking like we will have some rain later in the day, we will keep an eye on it. For now the river is at 0,27m at Ballylahan bridge. If it does creep up and freshen a little, spinning and worm will work.
