Overcast and misty in Foxford this morning. Unfortunately the river is rising again. We had some heavy showers yesterday afternoon and they seem to have had a substantial effect. It is now at 1.29m at Ballylahan bridge and it looks like it will continue to rise. This is something we did not need and it is going to make things very difficult again. For anyone that is fishing today the best idea would be to head further downstream, Knockmore anglers “Paddens pool” or even further to the Canal in Ballina would be likely areas. Spin and worm will be the best methods.
