A dark cloudy morning in Foxford. It looks like we will have rain today. The river is now at 0.7m at Ballylahan bridge and will be suitable for all methods. It should be a good day on the Moy and I would expect anglers will have success. East Mayo anglers waters will be in good condition for fly, Cloongee for spinning and further downstream from Foxford the Prawn will work.

A wet morning in Foxford, its still dark. I’m heading off fishing for a couple of days so an early start. The 2026 Salmon season
