An overcast and wet morning in Foxford. We have had a mixed bag of weather over the past thirty six hours, including hail stones. The river came up yesterday and is now at 0.93m at Ballylahan bridge. Hopefully this fresh water and the drop in air temperature will cool the water down a little. I’m not sure how widespread this mornings rain is but it may be enough to start levels rising again. As things settle down over the next few days we could be in for some good fishing on the Moy. Today will be a day for worm fishing.
