Tuesday 23rd August

The River has dropped back to 0.8m on the gauge at Ballylahan and is in great order for all methods, there has also been a big improvement in the reports of fish being caught. Most of these fish have been in the system for a few weeks but there is still the odd fresh fish among the ones being landed. The best method for the past few days has been spinning but other methods should start to be effective. The outlook is good with very good water conditions and some settled weather.
