A cloudy morning in Foxford with the occasional heavy shower, we had a few of these last night which will hold the levels up today. The river came up a little over night and is now at 1.2m at Ballylahan bridge. It is slightly coloured but suitable for spin and worm fishing. Yesterday it fished well and there was good catches, spinning worked very well. Angling for the next while should be good and although it looks like we have some better weather on the way next week levels should hold and there will be plenty of water for fish to run.
