A dry morning in Foxford, it looks like most of the rain has passed. The river is at 0.7m at Ballylahan bridge. It is a little bit coloured in Foxford but this should clear as the day goes on. It will be another good day for spinning but by evening all methods should work. This little flood should have moved a few fish about the place. Some of the fisheries down stream will be well worth trying, Paddens pool and  the wood Pool would be worth a look.

  1. Quick Question….with a WTF 8 floating line, do I need to use an intermediate sink tip with a 3/4 foot tippet or just attach tippet only to floating fly line when fishing Moy in lowish water?
