A hazy band of cloud over Foxford this morning, the sun is fighting hard to break through. Overall the weather is good but from an angling point of view I would prefer the wind to move from the East. The river is now at 0.85m at Ballylahan bridge and is starting to look good in Foxford. The Rinnaney waterkeeper Dave reported a couple of salmon lost over the weekend and given that there were very few anglers on the water that bodes well. Pontoon bridge is another area that reports are filtering from and with water levels in the Loughs falling its well worth a try.
