A bright morning in Foxford. Its breezy though and it is still coming from the east. We sold a few permits for East Mayo Anglers waters yesterday and as expected, there was a salmon taken. The water is in very nice condition up there now and I think over the weekend we will see more fish showing up as a few more anglers put in some effort. It is currently at 0.78m which is ideal, it will drop a little more by the weekend and there will be a real chance of a fish on the fly. From Foxford downstream the water is in good condition for spin and worm. The forecast is for the wind to go Southerly over the weekend and following the bit of warmer weather we should see Loughs Conn and Cullin kicking off for trout angling. Its a wonderful time of the year for an angler.
