A showery morning with a nice Southerly breeze in Foxford. It looks like we will have showers throughout the day with some heavier rain tonight. The river is falling and at 0.74m at Ballylahan bridge. It will be a good day for spinning and anyone who takes their time spinning “slow and low” through the pools should be rewarded. Not sure yet what the weekend will be like, it depends on tonights rain. We are now into the last two weeks of the salmon season and it is a period that is normally good, this year should be no different.
