A little bit of a haze in the sky over Foxford this morning but that will burn off soon I think. It is forecast to be Hot today and is not going to be a day for salmon fishing on the Moy. I would consider an alternative like a beach for sea trout. At least the water will be cool and temperatures should be a little cooler close to the coast. Amazingly, there is still a considerable level of water around Foxford and fresh salmon are arriving daily. I was talking to one local who was fishing in the town on Friday and he saw a good few fish moving. When we do get a change in weather conditions there will be a bit of decent Salmon fishing to be had. For now though, It’s early morning, late evening or try something different.

The shop is open today from 8am to 12 Noon and will reopen at 8am on Tuesday morning. You can guess where I will be this afternoon .
