A little bit of sun trying to break through the rain clouds over Foxford this morning, another mixed day ahead. The river is looking good and the water has cleared out well. It will be suitable for all methods today. There have been some good sized fish caught in the past few days including a 15lb and 13lb from East Mayo anglers waters, a 14lb from Cloongee and a few other fish in the 13lb range from below Foxford. Most anglers are seeing fish and the mood seems good on the river. The weather forecast for the coming days mentions quite a lot of rain which at some point will have an effect on water levels, nothing to panic about today though. For anyone heading out today, spinning could be the way to go. The shop is open from 8am to Noon today and will re open at 8am on Tuesday morning
