A little bit of sun, a little bit of cloud and a little bit of wind in Foxford this morning, it’s not too bad. We did have some heavy rain yesterday evening and the river is now rising. Currently at 0.63m at Ballylahan bridge it will continue to rise for the rest of the morning at least. It’s not going to be a day for fly fishing on the Moy but Spin and Worm should still work. Over the past week there has been a good show of fish throughout the river and word from Ballina yesterday was that they are seeing good numbers of fish running. This water will help get fish moving and once water conditions improve we should again have some good sport.
