18.00 The River has started to Fall, it reached just over 1.4m at Ballylahan bridge and was very coloured. By morning it should be in nice condition for worm and spin fishing.

A wild and windy morning in Foxford. The river is rising and is now at 1.0m at Ballylahan bridge, it is coloured in Foxford. It is likely to continue rising for at least the next few hours. There was a a nice show of fish yesterday with fish been taken on East Mayo anglers, Gannons and at Pontoon bridge. Once the weather settles and the levels start to fall fishing should be good.
