A little bit of sun breaking through the clouds in Foxford, a rare sight. We had a lot of rain over the last 24 hours and the river is rising fast. It is now at 1.64m at Ballylahan bridge and will continue to rise. Its safe to say that there will not be much angling on the Moy today. Its never impossible but the chances of fish are slim. For the next few days its going to be difficult to judge, every shower will have an effect. If I was thinking about going Salmon fishing, I would look at some of the smaller spate rivers otherwise one of the Loughs for trout would be something to try.
