04/09/2025 A fish ready for the net on one of Thierrys “Special Rollas” of which we have a limited stock.

A dull but dry morning in Foxford. The river is dropping nicely and while still high is looking ok. We had reports of a few fish taken yesterday including 3 on one of the “Special Rollas”that I mentioned yesterday. Its good to hear of anglers having some success after the disastrous period we have gone through. For today the river is at 1.04m at Ballylahan bridge and is dropping slowly. It should continue to drop for the next couple of days after which we are forecast more unsettled weather. Spin and worm will be the best methods.
