Wednesday 12/04/2023

A little lull at the moment but a windy and showery day promised again. Yesterday turned wet and we had some very heavy wintry downpours. The river has been rising overnight and is peaking (for now) at 1.76m at Ballylahan bridge. I think it will start to rise again later in the day. This is all not very good for anyone hoping to fish the Moy today. The good news is that there appears to be a few more fish showing up and when it starts to come back into order there will be a reasonable chance of a fish. Pontoon bridge may still be worth a try today.
