A dark breezy morning in Foxford and the forecast is not great. The river crept up a little yesterday afternoon but is dropping at the moment, now at 1.44m at Ballylahan bridge. For anyone brave or mad enough to face it today fishing should be OK. The best chance will be on one of the fisheries upstream of Foxford and either spin or worm will be the best methods. The remainder of the season hinges on what rain falls today, hopefully we will not get too much.
