A mixed sky over Foxford this morning, it will make a nice fishing day. The water is now at 0.3m at Ballylahan bridge and the rocks at the back of the town are still covered. The forecast is for strong wind and I can imagine that will not come without rain. In reality, we do not really need rain but it will freshen things up a bit. Reports during the day yesterday showed an improvement in Salmon fishing and the Prawn was working well. For today, it will be bubble and fly and Prawn. The strong winds forecast for tomorrow Monday will make things difficult and if we do get the rain the river will be rising on Tuesday, so a slow start to the week. The shop is open this morning from 8am to Noon and will re open at 8am on Tuesday morning
