A fresher morning in Foxford and it looks like a nice day for fishing. It might brighten a little later but i think we will have reasonable cloud cover and a nice breeze. Good bubble and fly conditions. I had a walk along the river earlier and spotted a couple of fish splashing at the back of the town, fresh Grilse heading upstream. The river has crept up by a few centimetres, that’s nothing but it all helps. The little hint of fresh water may encourage a few more fish to move. The forecast is for unsettled weather over the weekend, this coupled with the bigger tides makes me optimistic for next week. Could be time to book a day of work !
