No sky to be seen over Foxford this morning, its dull and overcast. It is still warm and humid with virtually no breeze. From an angling point of view it is a bit better than yesterday and I would not be surprised to hear that there was fish caught this morning. The forecast is for it to brighten up later in the day. That’s the problem in weather like this, there are brief periods where conditions come right but to be there at the time is difficult. Overall angling is not good at the moment. I did hear that there are Mackerel around the coast so a few hours on a pier after them would be something to consider. Latest news from Ballina is that they are worried that humans are upsetting the seals in the tidal beats and would prefer angling was stopped, lets see what happens there.
