A foggy start to the day along the Moy, it will soon burn off. Yesterday was a bright sunny day and there was very few anglers on the river , today will be similar. Water levels upstream are low and the bright weather does nothing to increase the chances of a fish taking. From Foxford downstream the water is deeper and fish will be holding here. Reports from Ballina are that there’s a few fish starting to show in the Ridge pool, lower water levels suits the ridge. In reality, while the weather stays bright and sunny, the best chance of a fish will be in the late afternoon.
