A dry morning with a blue sky in Foxford, a nice day ahead. This will not help with water levels on the fishereis upstream of Foxford, East Mayo anglers and Cloongee where water levels are already getting low, 0.3m at Ballylahan bridge. Reports over the weekend were of some salmon taken and more seen running. For today, some of the deeper stretches downstream of Foxford will be best and worm or Prawn will be the best methods. There were good hatches of Mayfly on Lough Cullin over the weekend, both Conn and Cullin fished well on Saturday and were poor on Sunday, possibly due to the cold breeze.
