A dull morning in Foxford, slightly cooler and there is certainly an Autumnal feeling creeping in. The low pressure I mentioned last week is now off our west coast and we are getting the associated wind and rain. We had a few showers yesterday and there is heavier rain forecast for today. Probably not enough to bring a flood but it will all add up and by the weekend we should see a change in the river. For anyone that is fishing today, the bubble and fly or a light spinner should work. For those who have been tied up in family stuff or just not bothering to go fishing the time is nearly right to grab the rod for the last few weeks of the season. I would give it another week or ten days and we should have some good fishing.
