Sunday 24/08/2025

Not as overcast this morning and we have a little bit of breeze, a nicer fishing day. Not a lot to report from yesterday, there were very few anglers in the area and a lot of those who were took time to enjoy our local festival “Riverfest” which is on this weekend. Judging by the noise and carnival atmosphere last night there will a few sore heads this morning. There is a Spey casting competition today which will see some of the best fly casters in the country in action downstream off the bridge in Foxford. For anyone that is going fishing today, bubble and fly will be the way to go but with the forecast breeze a light spinner may also be worth a try. We are closing very early today, the shop will open at 8am and close at 9am, apologies for any inconvenience caused.
